  • Usability feedback from Dr. Dorenkamp (Jul 27): no way for a doctor to electronically sign a note; the patient-name field needed the placeholder "test" removed and should read "Patient Name and Date of Birth"; he also asked for simple video tutorials on using the platform and building templates.

  • Immediate fit: close the gaps Dr. Dorenkamp already named — e-signature for notes, the patient-name/DOB field fix, and the video tutorials — so the clinic can self-serve onboarding of its remaining surgeons.
  • Bigger picture: Red Cedar sits inside the USPI network. A pilot that converts cleanly is a reference point for other USPI-affiliated surgery centers, not just this one.

The 30-day trial (July 28 – August 28, 2026) has already ended. HubSpot shows no logged email, call, or note since Dr. Dorenkamp's July 28 outage report — the deal is still sitting in the Delivery stage with nothing scheduled.

Adoption also currently runs through a single champion. He said on July 27 he'd "started inviting people" — whether the rest of Red Cedar's surgeons actually used it isn't visible in the CRM yet.

Read on it: a check-in that references his specific list (e-signature, field labeling, tutorials, the outage) will land far better than a generic "how's it going" — it shows the feedback was heard, not filed away.
